The first half of the book left me thinking this would be an easy five stars, but the other half of the book felt like moving quite slowly for me. I was getting a tad bit annoyed with Beverly’s insecurities about herself and also her doubting Griffin’s feeling every other second when it was so obvious the way he was genuinely into her.  I also think the ex part dragged on longer than necessary in the story.  I understand he’s part of her past but sometimes I felt like he was her present too. And just as things were beginning to heat up between them, Griffin has to leave town. Which…
