Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Review

This book was super cute, the enemies to lovers aspect was done well. But the political propaganda to readers was so not necessary. I’ve said that before and I will say it again, politics aren’t opinions held separate from life so it is hard to get into a book when you have a different opinion from the author. I would have enjoyed this much more if it wasn’t for all the political stances included in the story. And believe me, there are many!

  1. Today Tonight Tomorrow #1
  2. Second First Date Past #1.5
  3. Present Future #2

Crush’ is too weak a word to describe how I feel. It doesn’t do you justice, but maybe it works for me. I am the one who is crushed. I’m crushed that we have only ever regarded each other as enemies. I’m crushed when the day ends and I haven’t said anything to you that isn’t cloaked in five layers of sarcasm.”

Maybe it’s the whole concept of a guilty pleasure,” Neil says gently. “Why should we feel guilty about something that brings us – pleasure?

Love isn’t immediate or automatic; it takes effort and time and patience.” -Rowan

People change, Rowan. Thank God they do.

Blurb

Today, she hates him.

It’s the last day of senior year. Rowan Roth and Neil McNair have been bitter rivals for all of high school, clashing on test scores, student council elections, and even gym class pull-up contests. While Rowan, who secretly wants to write romance novels, is anxious about the future, she’d love to beat her infuriating nemesis one last time.

Tonight, she puts up with him.

When Neil is named valedictorian, Rowan has only one chance at victory: Howl, a senior class game that takes them all over Seattle, a farewell tour of the city she loves. But after learning a group of seniors is out to get them, she and Neil reluctantly decide to team up until they’re the last players left—and then they’ll destroy each other.

As Rowan spends more time with Neil, she realizes he’s much more than the awkward linguistics nerd she’s sparred with for the past four years. And, perhaps, this boy she claims to despise might actually be the boy of her dreams.

Tomorrow … maybe she’s already fallen for him.
