Review
There is so much I wanna say, I don’t even know where to begin with. But before I start this review I want to give a friendly reminder that this is my personal opinion, the way I felt while reading. I strongly believe that there is a reader for every book, and that not every book is for every reader. Even thou I’m a huge fan of the series and the author, this book wasn’t one for me.

1- I didn’t like that most of the book took place while they were children. I don’t understand why the author thought we’d want to read a book basically about a child being constantly abused. Emotionally, physically and sexually. Everything was so graphic and there are so many scenes that it was actually disturbing on a new level. I mean I know Boys of Tommen is not for the faint of heart, so I was kind of prepared, but THIS book was something else. I was so mentally drained at the end of it, specially because Releasing 10 lacked the humor we still could find in Binding 13 to balance out all the ugliness of the story, that I finished this with a huge headache.
2- Another huge issue with the book was the STUPID parents. Oh my god they were so blind and oblivious about their daughter’s life that I was literally having anxiety attacks. How come they would never check their daughter screams at night??? How come they would never listen to her??? She.was.just.a.child!!!
3- Also, I have never liked Lizzie but I was empathize with her story. I was understanding her more. But that was until 80% of the book, when she cheated on Hughie. I understand she was drunk and unaware of anything around her when she cheated on him. However, nothing justifies the way she handled the aftermath. Nothing justifies the constant went back to Pierce. She never took ACCOUNTABILITY FOR HER ACTIONS! Sorry, to me she was just a selfish sex maniac bitch that only thought about her own pain and wanted be “fixed” f*c*ing anything that moved, she never once took into account Hugh’s feelings. And this has nothing to do with how mentally unstable she was that day. Also, she was so dependent on Hughie to “fix her”, that it was unhealthy for both of them. I finished this wanting that Hughie could be happy with someone else. This relationship is not good for him.
4- The ending was abrupt so I’m hoping there will be another book for their story. It’s hard to believe that that was the end. I value this series too much, of course I will read the following up even though this book wasn’t one for me. I need all the characters to have a happy ending after investing SO much of my time in this series and with these characters.
“Because I knew deep down inside that I would sit with Lizzie Young for the rest of my life if it kept the sadness out of her eyes. If it kept her safe.”

A love that couldn’t be broken, except by the truth.
Lizzie Young has always felt she was too much everything. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder at a young age, she’s never fit in with her family, her friends, her community. Lizzie wants to be accepted and understood, but with few family or friends in her corner, she’s carries her burdens and her trauma on her own.
But when she meets a kind boy on the school bus, things start to look bright for the first time in her life…
Hugh Biggs has an old soul and the wisdom of someone far beyond his years. A young man with a sharp mind and a firm code of ethics, he sees something in Lizzie Young that he can’t resist. He wants to be her everything and shoulder her burden. And Lizzie wants that too.
Lizzie and Hugh’s bond seems unbreakable — their chemistry is electric, their love is potent, and their connection is soul deep – but even the truest love can be shaken by forces beyond control.
