Review
I was loving this so much even when Gabby was being a bit insufferable in the beginning, but she did grow on me later on in the story, but then THEN Ben started acting like a complete jerk to her, saying the rudest things to Gabby. The way he treated her did not reflect the love he says he has for her for so many years. This would be okay if it had happened once or twice, as it’s completely understandable for him to be bitter and angry for while but it was a continuous cycle for the rest of the book. Had she not been knocked up I don’t feel like he would have come back to her at all. As I feel like he would never have read her letters if it wasn’t for his sister, which only shows me he didn’t care about Gabby anymore at all. I hate when I finish a romance novel feeling that the characters stayed together out of obligation rather than because they’re crazy for each other. I wanted more heart eyes and butterflies in the stomach. However, I couldn’t put the book down. The pain and heartbreak were very well done.
