Review
This book has a strong beginning. The banter between them was pure fun. I was sure this would be a solid 5 star for me but the minute they got together things got a bit cheesy for my liking. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read. It kept me engaged.

â Ever feel like youâre just losing it?â She laughs. âWait until you go through menopause. It gives a whole new meaning to the words losing it.â
â Did you know daisies are weeds?â âWhy are we talking about weeds?â âHumor me,â she says, searching through the grass for more. âPeople donât realize that the definition of a weed is just a wild plant thatâs not wanted in the area. Someone might look at this hill of daisies and only see something undesirable. Others see beauty. It really is just in the eye of the beholder. â
Blurb
It was a fun Vegas getawayâuntil I woke up married to my ex-fiancĂ©âs brother.
After Watson brother #1 ditched me at the altar, I stopped believing in happily-ever-afters. So Ihave no clue how I ended up saying âI doâ to BrooksâWatson brother #2âsomewhere between tequila shots and bad decisions.
Okay, that may not be true.
Sheriff Watson has been a charming thorn in my side ever since his brother left our small ranch town in his rearview mirror. Heâs a little too steady, a little too sweet, and way too intuitive because he sees through my facade. But no matter how tempting he is, heâs still a Watson.
I demand an annulment. He refuses, bargaining four real dates before he signs.
Fine. Iâll sabotage each one and keep my heart safely locked away. Itâs easier this way because he has no idea the secret Iâm keeping.
Of course, Brooks doesnât go down easyâhe has enough faith for both of us. He tackles my fears at every turn, making me wonder what would happen if I went all in.
But trusting the wrong man once nearly ruined meâdoing it again might finish the job.
