Insatiable by Leigh Rivers

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Review

Miscommunication is not a trope I enjoy reading and there is A LOT in this book. The whole issue between the main characters could’ve been solved with a simple conversation but instead nothing was resolved between them by the end of the book. And I just had enough of it. Not reading the sequel for sure.

Fuck. What is she playing at? The fuck am I playing at? I’ve dodged her for the past two years. I kept my distance when I visited at the weekends. Yet here I am, sitting with a solid, raging hard-on, imagining fucking my sister’s best friend in every position possible.

“I can feel her smile against my mouth. And then… butterflies. I have fucking butterflies while kissing someone. What the fuck is wrong with me?”

IF HE CAN’T HAVE HER, NO ONE ELSE CAN

Kade Mitchell is obsessed with someone he despises.

A snake in an angel’s skin, Stacey Rhodes is everything he can’t forget – the girl who shattered his heart and drove him deep into the darkness of the underworld.

He watched her for years. Killed anyone who came close to her. But now, granted a brief moment of freedom from the life he’s trapped in, he’s back home and driven to claim her again, breaking every rule he’s ever made for himself.

Not even his hatred can stop the pull between them.

But he’ll never forgive her… will he?

As this is a dark romance , the author highly recommends reading the ‘content warning’ page.
