There is just no yearning for the second chance relationship. No pining over. They both magically realize they’re still in love five years later and bum! They were head over heels for each other again.
Also, there is a hell of a lot of inner monologuing but they don’t actually have a conversation. They simply don’t talk. It became all too corny and predictable, to the point where I probably could’ve just skipped to the end and knew the outcome.
