The premise sounded very promising but the pacing was awfully slow for me and the story felt repetitive. There was a lot of miscommunication, the search for the man on the plane seemed to be drawn out unnecessarily, and I felt there were situations brought up in the book with the detective and his other dealings that really added nothing to the story. But then I think the problem can be me. I really don’t this author writing is for me.
