If you’re looking for something like Quicksilver, you’re in the wrong place. I am honestly not sure all the Quicksilver readers will enjoy this, but if you pick it up knowing exactly what to expect, you may not be disappointed.

It’s dark, but not too dark—just enough edge to keep things interesting without emotionally ruining you (finally!). It’s a mafia romance and it is very spicy. And although I think their relationship has been too surface-level so far for me, and the ending was a bit of a let down also, I had a really good time the whole way through. I just expect to see the connection between the main characters grow more in the second volume.
