3.75 stars I’m torn about this one. It was a very good read. I read it in one day. However, the ending felt very unsatisfying. The plot twist completely threw me towards the end— I wasn’t expect it at all, and, honestly, I don’t think the author took the proper time to rebuild Billie and Mick’s foundation in my eye. We didn’t have enough time to see Mick’s genuine regrets for what he did, and to feel their love for each other again.
