Icebreaker by Hannah Grace

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Review

I tried Icebreaker again on audiobook cause I thought I wasn’t patient enough the first time I read it. But I guess it’s not me, but 100% you problem.

The book drags on forever, even with the audiobook 😫 there is so many characters that is hard to keep track of all of them. There is a lot going on but at the same no plot at all.

Couldn’t warm up to the heroine. Didn’t feel any chemistry there. What did I have in mind for trying this one again?! Ugh 😵‍💫

I gave Icebreaker 3 stars because I reeeally loved the cover! 🫶🏻

Don’t give me that shit. I’ve seen what you have on your smutty bookshelf.

It’s not porn. It’s a romance book that happens to have a little bit of sex in it.

I love a woman who enjoys reading.

We’re still individuals, but we’re individuals together, and I never knew relationships could be like this.

Anastasia Allen has worked her entire life for a shot at Team USA. It looks like everything is going according to plan when she gets a full scholarship to the University of California, Maple Hills, and lands a place on their competitive figure skating team.

Nothing will stand in her way, not even the captain of the hockey team, Nate Hawkins.

Nate’s focus as team captain is on keeping his team on the ice. Which is tricky when a facilities mishap means they are forced to share a rink with the figure skating team—including Anastasia, who clearly can’t stand him.

But when Anastasia’s skating partner faces an uncertain future, she may have to look to Nate to take her shot.

Sparks fly, but Anastasia isn’t worried . . . because she could never like a hockey player, right?
