A highly anticipated read. I’m a sucker for the grumpy single dad trope, but this fell flat for me. The book was way too long to the very little things that actually happens. Their connection felt forced. There is zero conflict in the story. The kid was the most annoying fake kid that has ever existed in a book!! Some of the dialogue were very cringey. It was painful to read it.
