But for maximum enjoyment, follow the recommended reading order. ∗ I thought this book had no end. My god, sooooooo damn long! The storyline was cute and all but truthfully I skipped through A LOT of this book. It had its highs and lows though, but, overall, it didn’t really intrigue me. The Heartbreak Hotel by Ellen O’Clover

The story line was cute, but the book felt like it dragged on too long. Also, Henry has apparently liked Lou since he first saw her, but we have no real reason as to why Henry likes Lou. Their relationship was sweet and I did like Henry, but it all felt so sudden. I do feel like this author has a lot of potential though. I will definitely keep an eye on her.  ❝ I came because I have this new ailment where I feel sick if I haven’t seen you in a few days.❞ A bed-and-breakfast for the brokenhearted might hold the key to another chance at love in…

    The Storm by Rachel Hawkins

I tried really hard to get into this one but it was just a major struggle for me. DNF. St. Medard’s Bay, Alabama is famous for three things: the deadly hurricanes that regularly sweep into town, the Rosalie Inn, a century-old hotel that’s survived every one of those storms, and Lo Bailey, the local girl infamously accused of the murder of her lover, political scion Landon Fitzroy, during Hurricane Marie in 1984. When Geneva Corliss, the current owner of the Rosalie Inn, hears a writer is coming to town to research the crime that put St. Medard’s Bay on the map, she’s less interested in solving a whodunnit than in…

And the Crowd Went Wild by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

What to Expect:⋆✴︎˚。⋆ second chance ➺ childhood sweethearts  ➺ sports romance ➺ football ➺ enemies to lovers ➺ celebrity romance ➺ slow burn ➺ forced proximity ➺ mature characters ⋆✴︎˚。⋆ ⚠︎ Trigger Warning ⚠︎miscarriage ⋙ stalking ⋙ alcoholism ⋙ manipulation ⋙ abused animal ⋙ rape  This was an entertaining second chance romance, but the book dragged in the middle for me. Also, I found it hard to connect with Dancy at first, but I’m glad there is some character growth along the way and I could finally root for her happy ending in the end.  Overall, a good book but by far my favorite from this series. ͟͟͞͞➳❥ This is book…

The Wild Card by Stephanie Archer

What to Expect:⋆✴︎˚。⋆  sports romance ➺ hockey ➺ forced proximity ➺ single dad ➺ found family ➺ coach vs owner’s daughter ➺ black cat & golden retriever ➺ slow burn ➺ he likes everyone but her ⋆✴︎˚。⋆ I had such high hopes for this book but unfortunately this one didn’t do it for me. The burn was just too slow, and it carried on for too long. I never fully connected with Tate and Jordan as a couple nor as an individual character either. There was just no sparks between them at all. Everything was just so bland! Not even the single dad trope, that I usually love so much, did…

What to Expect:⋆✴︎˚。⋆  dark romance ➺ college ➺ antihero ➺ secret society ➺ opposites attract ➺ dark academia ➺ bully ➺ blackmail ⋆✴︎˚。⋆ Achilles didn’t feel like a strong and powerful character to me but more like a spoiled little rich kid that says what I want I get it.  Sorry, but this felt SO juvenile. Accidentally Yours by Christina Lauren

What to Expect:⋆✴︎˚。⋆ novella  ➺ workplace ➺ nerdy hero emails/ text format  ⋆✴︎˚。⋆ Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by this.
