I was expecting this to be a forbidden romance since this is about a professor/student love story but I don’t think the author did it very well. Shouldn’t they have been resisting each other? Been yearning themselves half to death over someone they desperately want but cannot ethically have??? But instead these two hook up way to fast before we can actually get all that tension and angst that usually comes with this trope.

That said, I still found the plot interesting. It kept me entertained. I just think that with a trope like this, the story definitely could have been stronger and more gripping if the forbidden aspect was built well.
