The writing was solid but I never truly felt invested in their relationship. It has some really good banter in the book, I will give you that, but I just couldn’t feel any romantic connection between the main characters. I also didn’t like how the accident that killed Bex’s entire family was handled. It lacked empathy. Specially from Theo.
